Microschool Founder

Lee Courrau is the founder of LaunchKids Academy, a dedicated advocate for play-based learning and social skills development. With years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), he has worked directly with children, families, and ABA providers to implement effective social skills programs. His passion for structured, engaging learning environments led him to develop The Social Pathway Curriculum, a comprehensive resource designed to bring consistency and impact to social skills groups and summer programs. Lee has successfully launched two summer programs focused on social development, giving autistic children a true summer camp experience that blends structured learning with peer-driven engagement. Now, he is expanding that vision by creating a microschool that prioritizes social-emotional learning, functional skills, and school readiness for young children transitioning into Kindergarten. Through a mix of structured curriculum, play-based instruction, and collaboration with ABA providers, Lee is committed to shaping an educational experience that prepares children not just for school, but for life. Above all, Lee is a father to three amazing girls who constantly remind him of the magic of childhood. Whether he’s throwing himself on the floor to play, building elaborate pillow forts, or acting out wild imaginary adventures, he believes that learning should be joyful, immersive, and filled with connection. His role as a parent fuels his passion for creating environments where all children can thrive, grow, and feel a true sense of belonging.
