Aloha Phoenix

Microschool Founder

Christie is a mother of six and has been an educator since 2009. Education, particularly home education, has always been a central priority for her. She spent many years teaching in the public school system before expanding into online education through her private business during the pandemic. During that time, Christie worked with families at no cost, committed to ensuring that students received the support they needed to adapt to rapid changes in education. Her work has since grown to serve students around the world. Christie is deeply inspired by the Hawaiian concept of 'Ohana,' which emphasizes the importance of family. She believes that people flourish when they are supported and loved by their 'Ohana,' in whatever form it takes.

Ms. Christie McAlister is one of the most dedicated, passionate people I have ever met who takes the time to not only recognize each child and their own needs but makes an effort to find what works for them!

Whether you homeschool and need extra support, tutoring or even a club it’s a great place to build a real ohana. We are transitioning from homeschooling to fully emerging into the program! Each teacher makes sure that each child not only understands what is being taught but offers one one support later to be utilized! Whether you live USA or even England or china her support you can count on!

She also helps adults with language or going back to school ! Education is important with her program it just makes sense to have this has an extra tool!

Thank you all you amazing staff as well !
