SustainEd North Fork is a STEM-focused learning center for homeschooled students in grades 9–12, located in Southold, New York. The program is designed to support high school learners through inquiry- and project-based experiences that emphasize authentic learning, collaboration, and real-world application.
Rooted in a mission to promote holistic sustainability, SustainEd North Fork guides students through STEM learning that leads to generative action in the local community. Students explore sustainability through environmental, social, and economic lenses while developing key competencies such as systems-thinking, values-thinking, futures-thinking, collaboration, and strategic action. The program serves STEM-inclined students with a genuine curiosity about the natural world and a commitment to sustainability-focused learning.
