Academy of Business & Innovation (ABI) is a fully virtual private high school designed to serve motivated students who want high school to be a true launchpad. ABI enables students to earn up to 60 college credits through a CLEP-aligned, mastery-based curriculum while developing real-world business and decision-making skills. Through learner-driven pacing and rigorous academic expectations, students move as quickly as they demonstrate mastery, gaining both college credit and confidence along the way.

ABI’s model blends weekly live instruction, collaborative labs, and hands-on business practicums to create a high-engagement virtual experience. Students participate in discussion-based seminars led by experienced business mentors, work in peer cohorts to produce real deliverables, and graduate with a professional portfolio, not just a transcript. Designed for entrepreneurs, competitive athletes, and ambitious scholars, ABI provides a flexible yet structured environment that prepares students for college, careers, and ethical leadership in a rapidly changing world.

Microschool Founder
The founder of Academy of Business & Innovation is a university educator and advisor with extensive experience teaching communication, leadership, and applied learning at institutions including the University of Texas at Dallas, the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of North Texas, Duquesne University, and Collin College. His work spans both instruction and student support, giving him a deep understanding of how learners develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed beyond the classroom. Driven by a belief that high school should prepare students for real responsibility, not just compliance, he founded ABI to bridge the gap between traditional academics and the demands of modern business, technology, and leadership. His vision is to create a learning environment where students master communication, ethical decision-making, and ownership of their work—graduating not only with credentials, but with the mindset and capabilities to lead.
