Microschool Founder

Genevieve is the founder of Arbor Learning Lab, a microschool created to provide families in Rutherford County, Tennessee with an inclusive and innovative educational option. She brings years of experience as a school leader, including roles as a high school principal and founding principal at a charter school. Originally from the East Coast, Genevieve now lives on a mini farm outside Nashville, where her passion for student-centered learning and community-driven education continues to grow. Her interest in microschools began while seeking a better fit for her own children, ultimately leading to long daily commutes to access the right learning environment. Arbor Learning Lab was born out of a desire to offer families like hers a high-quality, local alternative that meets students' individual needs close to home.
