Brittany Lopez is a certified special education teacher and Professional Educational Therapist with extensive experience supporting children with diverse learning and developmental needs. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education, along with certifications in EC–6 General Education, EC–12 Special Education, and EC–12 English as a Second Language. Her professional background includes in-home family support services, work in an autism treatment center, and over a decade in special education settings, where she supported students across small-group, inclusive, and individualized instructional environments. In 2020, Brittany founded Brighter Futures Educational Therapy to support children and families navigating learning differences and developmental disabilities, with a focus on early intervention, parent education, and communication, learning, and social development. Building on the success of her private practice, she later founded Brighter Futures Microschool to create a supportive, community-centered, and evidence-based educational environment for students with learning, language, and social differences. Brittany’s work is grounded in her combined experience as an educator, advocate, and family member of individuals with disabilities, and she is deeply committed to individualized instruction and meaningful long-term outcomes for each student.
