Nefertiti Harris is a devoted wife and loving mother to five beautiful children and one adorable granddaughter whose passion for education and community empowerment is transforming lives. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she pursued her education in Virginia before settling in Mississippi. With a Master of Science in Education and a minor in Spanish, she has dedicated over 24 years to education, serving as a General and Special Education Teacher, Reading Interventionist, and Reading Specialist for grades K-12. She has also founded organizations dedicated to education, empowerment, and dyslexia awareness, striving to equip others with knowledge that creates lasting impact.

My wife and I were blessed to connect with Mrs. Harris. She is a very passionate, professional and caring teacher. During the pandemic, she was able to tutor our son and help him to become a solid reader; along with assisting him with foundational academic skills. Mrs. Harris was very flexible with our schedule and provided both online/in-person sessions. When things were turbulent during the pandemic, my wife and I always could depend on her to provide our son with love, patience and a quality education! Also, I would like to mention that our son and daughter have attended Mrs. Harris’ summer camps. They both thoroughly enjoyed participating in her camp too!
