Hollie Zamora is the founder of Hatch Academy and brings over 25 years of experience working across a variety of school settings as an educator, literacy specialist, instructional coach, and school administrator. Throughout her career, Hollie has been deeply committed to designing innovative learning environments that honor how children actually learn. She has worked extensively with twice-exceptional students, children with dyslexia, and neurodivergent learners—students who are often bright, curious, and capable, yet underserved by one-size-fits-all approaches to education.
Hatch Academy was founded from a clear vision: that strong literacy, high expectations, and creativity can exist together in a thoughtful, intentional school model. Hollie leads Hatch with a focus on personalized learning, small-group instruction, and meaningful relationships, creating a culture where students feel seen, challenged, and confident. Her leadership is guided by the belief that when learning is designed with intention and respect for the child, students don’t just succeed academically—they rediscover joy in learning and develop the skills they need to thrive.
