My name is Dr. ZseTaun Washington I have been an educator for 24 years. I have extensive experience as a special education and general education teacher. I obtained my Doctorate in Education-Teaching and Higher Learning in December of 2023 and had the distinguished honor of being the graduate student speaker.
It is my vision to prepare students to be career and life ready. Social emotional learning is inter-woven in my classroom, promoting and building positive relationships with students and teaching them how to do the same with one another. Over the years I have composed and written many plays for students. The plays have encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and build their confidence. I am a certified whole brain teacher who uses kinesthetic movements, songs, and gestures to reach all students. If you step into my class, you will find that my classroom is fun, engaging, and family oriented. My instruction makes learning relevant and engaging for all students.
