With 26 years of teaching experience in grades K–8, I am a dedicated educator, reading interventionist, and instructional leader committed to helping every child thrive. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, am TESOL endorsed, and have earned National Board Certification in Literacy: Language Arts and Reading for Early to Middle Childhood (ages 3–12). As a Highly Qualified Level 3A instructional leader, I have spent my career strengthening literacy, building confident learners, and creating classrooms where students feel supported, capable, and inspired to grow both academically and personally.
Ranch & Roots Academy is a faith-based, private agritourism school designed to return education to its roots: faith, family, and purposeful living. We serve like-minded families seeking an alternative to traditional systems, offering a faith-centered environment where children are free to grow in their faith while developing strong character and practical life skills. Our hands-on, agriculture-integrated model blends rigorous academics with meaningful real-world application. Students learn reading, writing, math, and science through gardening, livestock care, and farm-to-table nutrition. We emphasize stewardship, sustainability, leadership, responsibility, and a strong work ethic, cultivating confident, grounded learners who know who they are and Whose they are. This is not just a school — it is a legacy in the making, built on faith, family, and the timeless values that prepare children to live with integrity and serve their communities with purpose.
