Mary Rice-Boothe, EdD, has more than 25 years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, principal coach and curriculum designer. She owns Leading-Within, LLC, a consulting organization that supports and advocates for leaders in K12 education through advocacy, coaching, research, and writing. She is the author of Leading Within Systems of Inequity in Education: A Liberation Guide for Leaders of Color and is writing a second book focused on building political acumen.

Mary Rice Boothe is a visionary administrator, educator, and staff developer. Her exemplary leadership skills fostered and facilitated a school culture where students believed in themselves to be agents of change in their lives and in the lives of others.
