Karen Guerrero, an educator, NatGeo Explorer, and innovator from Arizona, has more than thirty years experience teaching in the K-12 classroom, teaching future educators, and conducting teacher professional development; working with students from inner-city children to urban adults. She has a PhD in eLearning and EdD in leadership and innovation in education and her research focuses on teaching STEM content to diverse learners, gamification, civics education, and using innovative technologies to support teaching and learning. She is a mom, traveler, and lifelong learner who continually looks for opportunities to collaborate globally. Co-founding Wicket Academy brings together Karen’s goals, aspirations, and commitment to the education community worldwide.

    Lately it’s been a struggle to get my child to even want to go to school. I think a school like this would make my child excited about learning. Everything I read about your school, I think would be a great fit for my child.
