Hello! I'm Candice Hilton, a super passionate educator and homeschooling mom! I am the founder of Hilton Horizons Academy. I bring extensive experience in education and child development, spanning over a decade. Since 2017, I've been a certified classroom teacher, equipped with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Elementary K-6 with a 4-8 endorsement. I have also completed the Eastman Scholar MathElites program at East Tennessee State University and the TN ALL Corps certification for tutoring. I'm elated to share that I am a member of the Middle States Association, the National Hybrid Schools Society, the National Microschooling Center, KaiPod, and a VELA Founder; all to better serve our families. My teaching style? It's all about real life skills and keeping things interactive. I love nurturing my students' minds, hearts and social skills through creative holistic teaching methods.
