My name is Tasha Ellis. I live in Atlanta, Ga. I grew up in Atlanta and California. I have been an educator for over 20 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University(Tallahassee, Fl) and my doctorate from Fielding Graduate University (Santa Barbara, Ca).I am passionate about teaching and learning. In my spare time, I love to travel and spend quality time with family and friends.

    My daughter was a rising 5th grader and at the end of her 4th grade year we were told that she needed to work on her writing skills over the summer and recommended that we get a tutor. I reached out to Dr. Ellis for support. Dr. Ellis was flexible and we worked out a schedule that accommodated summer activities. My daughter’s favorite subject is math so getting her to focus on writing was a bit of a challenge. Dr. Ellis took her time and identified problem areas for us to work on. She provided detailed notes at the end of each session and provided links for additional practice work outside of regular sessions. My daughter felt confident about writing going into 5th grade. We highly recommend Dr. Ellis for any tutoring needs.
