Dr. Jendayi A. Stafford is the founder and director of Little
Roots Academy, a virtual K–2 microschool that provides
Christ-centered, developmentally aligned learning for young
children in a safe and nurturing home environment. A
developmental psychologist, educator, and mother of four, Dr.
Stafford founded Little Roots Academy from her belief that
children thrive when they feel truly seen, supported, and free
to learn in ways that honor how God designed them.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science, three
master’s degrees—including Developmental Psychology and
Marriage & Family Therapy—and a Ph.D. in Developmental
Psychology. In addition, she is a certified Integrative Nutrition
Health Coach, a Pharmacy Technician, and practices

herbalism. These all allow her to bring a holistic, whole-child
approach to education.
Dr. Stafford is also the founder of Graced for Motherhood, an
international best-selling author, and the creator of multiple
wellness and emotional development programs for children
and families. She serves as the Director of Professional
Development and Training for the BreakThrough! A mental
and metabolic recovery program, founded by Dr. Heather
Hamilton, advocates for homeopathic freedom and ministers
as Associate Pastor at Full Life Fellowship Ministries.
With a passion for nurturing children’s spiritual, emotional, and
academic growth, Dr. Stafford leads Little Roots Academy
with the mission of helping young learners grow deep roots—
in Christ, in confidence, and in their love for learning.
