Welcome to Amma Mountain Academy, a place where Every Student Deserves to Love to Learn. Amma Mountain Academy is a hybrid Microschool located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee that offers K-8 students a holistic, project-based learning center. We believe that every student deserves a voice in their education which then allows them the chance to Love to learn. Our flexible curriculum allows you to choose from our specialized academic offerings. At AMA, we focus on academics in the mornings and then project-based, enrichment learning in the afternoons. Students will have the opportunity throughout the school year to work and learn from some of the amazing local artisans.

You are your child’s best advocate — and you deserve a partnership in their educational journey. We make homeschooling easy for you by complementing your child with the resources they need, whether it’s a comfortable space to work, regular academic support (group setting or one on one), or facilitating social interactions and hands-on learning. Choose from part time or full time drop off plans to best suite your schedule. We prioritize holistic development by nurturing students’ social-emotional skills alongside academic learning, fostering self-awareness, empathy, resilience, and interpersonal competence to empower them for success in both their personal and academic lives.
