Microschool Founder

Wendy Collins is a certified educator and the founder of Hundred Acre Learning Center, a faith-based learning center located at 1209 Right Fork Wilson Creek in Wayne, West Virginia. With more than twenty years of experience serving children and families across West Virginia—through roles in early intervention, pre-k education, and inclusive classroom teaching—Wendy brings a deep commitment to nurturing the whole child. Her educational philosophy centers on the belief that young children thrive in small, relationship-focused environments where they are free to explore, play, and learn at their own developmental pace. Throughout her career, Wendy has specialized in developmental evaluation, individualized instruction, and family coaching, drawing on her background with West Virginia Birth to Three, Logan County Schools, and Wayne County Schools.
