EduPrep Academy is a smaller, personalized learning environment for capable middle school students ages 11–13 in Montgomery, Alabama. Created by an educator with more than 15 years of experience, EduPrep was designed for students who may be doing “fine” in school but are no longer truly growing, challenged, or connected to learning. We believe just because a student is passing does not mean they are reaching their full potential.

At EduPrep, we teach the child, not just the lesson. Through small-group learning, personalized academic support, real-world application, and intentional personal development, students build confidence, curiosity, communication skills, and a stronger understanding of who they are. Our goal is to create a learning experience where students feel seen, supported, and excited to grow again through learning that makes sense.

EduPrep Academy was founded by Jennifer Humphrey, an educator with more than 15 years of experience working in schools across Montgomery, Alabama. Throughout her career as a teacher, instructional coach, interventionist, and academic leader, she consistently noticed a pattern: many capable students were quietly disconnecting from learning. Although they were passing classes and staying out of trouble, they were no longer being deeply challenged, fully engaged, or truly seen for their potential. EduPrep was created in response to that experience. Built on the belief that students deserve more than just academic instruction, the school was designed to help middle school students grow in confidence, curiosity, communication, and direction alongside strong academics. Her vision is to create a smaller, more intentional learning environment where students feel known, supported, and excited about learning again through an experience that actually makes sense to them.
