Kay (Kareemah) Jones is the Founder and Director of Amanah Therapeutic Academy. A Registered Dietitian with experience across multidisciplinary healthcare and behavioral settings, she founded Amanah to address a critical gap: families navigating disconnected systems — school, therapy, and behavioral services — without a cohesive structure to support their child.
Her clinical background gave her a deep understanding of how clinical, behavioral, and environmental factors impact a child's ability to learn, regulate, and thrive. She created Amanah to bring these elements into one aligned environment where education and therapeutic support function as a unified system.
Her vision: a school where children develop independence, regulation, and confidence through predictable routines, individualized support, and a team-based approach. Committed to an environment grounded in consistency, compassion, and accountability — one that supports not only the child, but the entire family.
