Aya Akoma Academy
Aya Akoma Academy
Aya Akoma Academy is a microschool serving students in grades 6–12, designed to provide a personalized, culturally responsive learning experience. Rooted in the values of endurance (“Aya”) and patience (“Akoma”), the school nurtures both academic growth and character development.
With small class sizes and individualized instruction, students receive targeted support—especially in mathematics—while also engaging in critical thinking, real-world problem solving, and collaborative learning. Aya Akoma Academy blends strong academic foundations with an Afrocentric perspective, helping students build confidence, identity, and purpose.
Opening in Atlanta, Georgia in August 2026, the microschool offers families an alternative to traditional education—one that prioritizes relationships, flexibility, and meaningful learning experiences tailored to each student.
