Sonoran Learning Collective

Sonoran Learning Collective is a hybrid Christian microschool in Cave Creek, Arizona, serving students in grades 4–8. Inspired by classical education, we partner with families to provide a rich, thoughtful school experience focused on wisdom, character, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are a screen-free, book-based program. Students learn through great books, direct instruction, discussion, writing, and pencil-and-paper practice, not educational apps or personal devices. Our curriculum emphasizes strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics while building vocabulary, knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills. By focusing on depth rather than busywork, we help students become confident learners prepared for high school and beyond.

Students attend in-person classes on Mondays and Tuesdays and complete their remaining coursework at home throughout the week. Parent involvement is an essential part of the model, as families help guide and support learning on home days.
