The Kingdom School of Excellence

The Kingdom School of Excellence is a full-time, 5-day per week program in Duluth, Georgia serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The school provides personalized academic pathways that allow students to master core subjects at their own pace, removing the pressure of traditional grade-level expectations.

Within a faith-centered, mixed-age environment, students engage in a collaborative learning experience that encourages leadership, empathy, and confidence. Each day includes Scripture-based goal setting, helping students build a strong foundation rooted in their identity in Christ while approaching challenges with purpose.

Students also participate in the Innovation Lab, where they explore entrepreneurship by developing creative ideas into real-world business concepts. Through this experience, they build critical thinking skills and apply their learning in meaningful ways. At The Kingdom School of Excellence, students are known, valued, and supported in their individual academic journeys.

For 17 years, I’ve served the metro Atlanta community as a general education teacher, special education inclusion specialist, and MTSS Specialist. After nearly two decades in the public system, I realized that "standardized" education often misses the individual brilliance of every child. I founded The Kingdom School of Excellence to change that—creating a space where students with learning differences are no longer defined by labels, but by their unique God-given potential. Equipped with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Special Education and a Master’s in Urban Teacher Leadership from Georgia State University, I focus on building personalized academic pathways rooted in faith. I live in Duluth with my husband and two children, and I am deeply committed to helping our local families rediscover their children's love for learning through an environment that honors both their identity in Christ and their individual academic journey.

Mrs. Smith was my daughter’s 5th-grade teacher, and I am incredibly grateful for the impact she had on Lena during such an important year.
