Microschool Founder

Jasmine Curry is an educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate dedicated to strengthening families and creating meaningful learning experiences for children. She is the founder of Remnant Christian Academy Microschool, a Christ-centered, hybrid learning environment designed to support children and families through personalized education and community connection. With over a decade of experience in education, Jasmine is a certified Georgia educator with both a Reading Endorsement and a Gifted Endorsement. She has served as a teacher, coach, and youth leader, with a strong focus on student success, mentorship, and whole-child development. Through Remnant Christian Academy, she leads a microschool serving students in Pre-K through 2nd grade, where children learn in small, personalized environments that prioritize exploration, mastery of standards and concepts, and individualized instruction. Her educational philosophy centers on meeting students where they are and equipping them to grow academically, socially, and spiritually with confidence. Jasmine’s impact extends beyond the classroom. She has created intentional spaces for families to grow together through Prayer & Play Dates, Family Workshops, and Family Fun Days, which bring parents and caregivers into the learning process and strengthen the home-school connection. Her work has touched families throughout the community by fostering connection, providing support, and empowering parents to actively engage in their children’s development. In addition to her work in education, Jasmine has supported youth and led community outreach efforts through local partnerships and faith-based programs. She is also a devoted wife and mother of three children, which deeply informs her passion for serving families with care and excellence. Jasmine serves faithfully at her local church, Light of Joy, where she continues to mentor and pour into the lives of young women and families. A former Division I athlete at Howard University and experienced volleyball coach, she integrates discipline, leadership, and teamwork into every area of her work. She also holds a master’s degree from Georgia State University and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. Through her leadership at Remnant Christian Academy Microschool, Jasmine Curry continues to create spaces where children are seen, supported, and challenged to thrive—building stronger families, confident learners, and a faith-centered community.
