The Watershed Academy is a K-8 faith-based microschool. We foster a secure setting in which inclusion helps us embrace diversity. We welcome all students, including those with reading challenges, those who are neurodivergent, and students learning to speak English. In our supportive yet cooperative atmosphere, learners are empowered to reach academic goals and grow in self-confidence. In contrast to conventional schools, we believe social development is equally important as academic achievement. By integrating research-based strategies with opportunities for exploration, our approach enables students to build the confidence necessary for future pursuits. Students who attend our school will leave with the ability to solve problems collaboratively and a sense of civic responsibility. They will be well-equipped to pursue further education or begin their career because they have received a comprehensive education that supports their academic growth and emotional resilience.

We put these values into action every day through activities that encourage acceptance, resilience, and resolving conflicts with restorative methods. Inspired by Micah 6:8, we help students grow in both heart and mind, so they can carry justice, mercy, and humility into their homes, communities, and nation.
