Welcome to KaiPod in Gilbert.
KaiPod opened our Gilbert location in August 2022. Led by Learning Coaches Aubrey and Anna, our Gilbert pod is powered by self-agency where students learn and celebrate ownership over their own success. Well-supported self-advocation strategies help students find their voice to ask for what they need and achieve their goals. Our pod values hard work, but schedules plenty of time for play. A strong game culture allows for socialization and relaxation in a semi-structured environment where kids can fine-tune their understanding of social cues, inclusion, and fairness.

Meet Learning Coach Aubrey
Aubrey joined KaiPod Learning in 2023 and comes to us from Mesa, Arizona. For over 6 years, Aubrey has been a science instructor, working with at-risk and neurodivergent students. A big believer in fostering curiosity, Aubrey encourages students to ask questions and make mistakes in a safe place. She has spent time working as a Special Educator/ Paraprofessional and a youth entrepreneurship mentor, which has taught her the importance of teamwork and social-emotional learning, as well as the economics of running a small business.
Aubrey began as a psychology/pre-med major in her undergrad, and is now highly qualified in vertebrate zoology and animal behavior, and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University.
When Aubrey isn’t keeping busy with being a Learning Coach, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen or perfecting her beloved pickle recipe. She loves reading, swimming in the ocean, and learning more about animals and the incredible world we live in.
Meet Learning Coach Anna
Anna grew up in Kansas but moved to Arizona in 1987. She graduated with a B.S. in Recreation Management from Arizona State University and a baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education. Anna has been an educator for over 20 years and is passionate about helping students to love learning and become self-directed learners. She believes students are more motivated to learn when they have a sense of ownership and control over their own learning. Her goal is to provide guidance and support to learners as they work towards their own goals, planning and organizing their learning activities, and reflecting on their progress.
When not at KaiPod, Anna can be found somewhere outdoors-hiking, paddle boarding, running, camping, or playing pickleball.

Open Door Policy
At KaiPod Learning, we recognize that all students are unique and learn in different ways. Thus, we are committed to giving students the flexibility they need to maximize their learning experience. For this reason, KaiPod Learning operates on an “open door” basis. Each student may come as frequently or infrequently as they wish based on their enrolled plan. Students may come for a whole day, a partial day, or for various brief intervals throughout the course of a single day. It’s your choice. We are here to offer support when and if your student needs it.
Standard Enrollment Days
The standard enrollment days for our part-time enrollment plans are listed below. We are able to accommodate alternate days based on availability!2 Day Plan: Tuesday and Thursday
3 Day Plan: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
4 Day Plan: Monday through Thursday
One Semester Commitment
All KaiPod Learning enrollment plans are based on the local 36-week calendar and require a one-semester (five-month) commitment. If enrolling mid-year, there is a five-month commitment. After the one-semester or five-month commitment, enrollments may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.One Month Happiness Guarantee
We want to ensure that we’re a good fit for your family! KaiPod Learning offers a one-month happiness guarantee. Families who provide written notice of program termination within thirty (30) days of initial enrollment and/or start date are waived from their one-semester commitment.Monthly Payment Plans
Monthly payments are calculated by dividing the annual pricing rate by the number of monthly payments. If a student joins KaiPod Learning mid-year, the first monthly payment is prorated based on the start date. Due to KaiPod Learning’s Open Door Policy, fees are due regardless of student attendance. As such, no credits or refunds are provided for sick days, vacation days, calendar holidays, calendar professional development days, half-days, or other missed days.ESA

The 10 payments plan divides the annual tuition into 10 equal installments. These installments are due on the 1st of the month from August through May.2 PAYMENTS PLAN (5% Discount)
The two payments plan divides the annual tuition (minus a 5% discount) into 2 equal installments due on August 1st and January 1st. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family withdraws from KaiPod Learning prior to the end of the semester.
1 PAYMENT PLAN (10% Discount)
The one payment plan requires payment of the annual tuition (minus a 10% discount) in one payment on August 1st. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family withdraws from KaiPod Learning prior to the end of the academic year.
ESA
